Key insight

The decentralized communication protocol NOSTR has been making the rounds again due to recent news about censorship. Our COO Joe Mcgee wrote an excellent article detailing it’s use for businesses, entrepreneurs, and even what it might mean for the healthcare industry.

Powerful central authorities will consistently gather more control, usually to the detriment of everyone else. That's why decentralized and open-source applications and protocols are so crucial. Both Bitcoin and NOSTR can be invaluable instruments to gain self-sovereignty both in your business and personal life.

A look at Bitcoins future and regulation

Howard W. Lutnick, the Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, made an informative video discussing the future of Bitcoin and the current obstacles it faces. He claims that if there was more regulatory clarity, most investment firms would be eager to use and recommend Bitcoin investment products to their clients. We are at a point in the game where we’re simply waiting for the ref to give the signal.

It's important to note that there are still trillions of dollars in assets that cannot gain exposure to Bitcoin, even if the investors wanted to. The Bitcoin spot ETF has helped in this regard, but as Lutnick mentions, there are still many issues to be addressed, particularly in the banking sector.

99% of Bitcoins’ upside is still ahead of us. Currently, Bitcoin’s market cap represents around 0.01% of humanity’s assets.
